httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5Zqr8fKuSo Nice to know the thugs and gangstas are running downtown […] A FEW shots from our wander around Bayshore on Saturday […] AND so to brekkies again, this time at the Long Beach Café on Ocean in downtown, er, Long Beach. (A quick note: we came here a month or two ago and I totally forgot to do the update. Duh.) Anyway, this morning we met up with Jamie and Alicia and headed in. As usual it was pretty packed and very noisy, which is generally a very good sign. Within seconds of being seated we had our coffees and were perusing the menu. One things you can’t say about the Long Beach Café is that it’s short on choices. The menu is huge […] ONE of the best times to take photos of the beach is after a storm. As it chucked it down last night and this morning, I headed over with the camera once the skies cleared around 5.30. SO HERE’S a pic of downtown Long Beach at night. We’re going to attempt to head to Palos Verdes next weekend to take photos of the […] WE DON’T normally go to Shoreline Drive thanks to the proliferation of crappy chain restaurants which specialise in melted-cheese-on-meat dishes and the fact that there’s only valet parking so you get raped for $6 whether you’re there two hours or two minutes. But thanks to Ev getting a free $25 gift card from one of her clients* we ended up there tonight and I took the camera just so I could bore both of you with photos.
It’s nice to actually have a sky for a change.
<p style=“text-align: […] TOOK a walk to the dog beach with Mike and his wife and nipper this afternoon and snapped these pics. Shame there weren’t more dogs, but you can’t have it all ways.
Then things got even better when I spotted this 1974 Pontiac Firebird Formula:
